CSR Annual Report 2023

Over the years the publication of the CSR Report in Bangladesh has highlighted diversified and critical issues specifically focused on Sustainable Development. We initiated our first report in 2012 to create an awareness amongst stakeholders on what exactly is meant by Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR or Responsible Business through the UN Global Compact Principles. We highlighted various national, international companies’ CSR efforts and programs. Then in 2015 the CSR journey moved towards the initiation of the SDGs or Sustainable Development Goals – this journey is still ongoing. So most of our Reports started emphasizing on specific SDGs and the SDG best practices of implementation by entities from private sector, government and development partners. Thanks to all our contributors from private sector, Government, foreign embassies, local partners, civil society, non-governmental agencies for sharing a wealth of knowledge and information which we could disseminate with all stakeholders through interviews, case studies and articles.

This year’s “CSR Report in Bangladesh 2023 – “Circular Economy: A New Path towards Sustainability” introduces a new concept to Sustainability - to inform our readers how Circular Economy is linked to Sustainability.
