The “Report on CSR in Bangladesh 2023 titled “Circular Economy: A New Path for Sustainability” was launched on October 4, 2023 at Hotel Westin, Dhaka. Mr. Salman F. Rahman, Hon’ble Adviser to the Prime Minister on Private Industry and Investment, Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh was the chief guest of the ceremony.
Speakers included:
- E. Charles Whiteley, Ambassador & Head of Delegation, European Union to Bangladesh
- Fahmida Khatun, Executive Director, Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD)
- E. Iwama Kiminori, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh
- E. Park Young-Sik, Ambassador of South Korea to Bangladesh
- Shahamin S. Zaman, CEO, CSR Centre.
The event was moderated by Mr. Farooq Sobhan, Chairman of The CSR Centre Board of Trustees. The audience included representatives from the corporate sector, government, development partners, academia & media. Total of 109 participants attended the event.
